Other notable developments include improved discipline and positive attitude among students and teachers towards teaching & learning, increased popularity of the school in Kabale & beyond, improved infrastructure (new class rooms, library, laboratory, and increasing student population (850). The school has immense potential for further expansion in terms of infrastructure and student enrolment but the school faces a challenge of lack of enough & suitable accommodation for the students, teacher accommodation, unfinished class rooms etc.
While the total school population shows an increasing number of students per year, close scrutiny per class per year shows some levels of drop out because there is no single class which student population has remained the same from senior one through senior four. This dropout rate is related to early marriages which are common in the area, poverty making parents unable to meet the children needs at school, lack of descent accommodation at school and many other reasons.
